👩🎨 Studio thoughts:
I named this piece Thallo, the Greek word for flourishing and coming into bloom.
The horse stretches down to an apple; with an inquisitive look on his face, it’s a quiet and sweet moment. How did this apple get here?
Horses have a special relationship with us; they are deeply woven into my life, and I feel there is a quiet understanding in their presence which is something I can’t fully explain, but I hope to show through my work.
The colour palette is deep and warm, allowing space for a calm feeling whilst still holding depth and detail through my brush markings. There is an energy in the shaping of the brushmarks, revealing a little bit of the horse’s spirit.

Overall, the piece is 60cm x 69.5cm on deep-edge canvas, ready to hang or have a float frame added.
To help visualise this piece, it is larger than A2, nearly A1 in size, nearly 8 times the size of A4. Please use a measuring tape to find the true size :)
All orders are sent fully insured via Royal Mail, Parcelforce, or DPD using tracked services.
For international orders outside of the UK, please note that larger pieces will be carefully unframed and rolled into a protective tube for shipping. You will need to have the piece re-framed once it arrives.
Unfortunately, due to size restrictions, I’m unable to ship framed works outside of the UK. Framed international shipping may be possible on request, though this comes with a higher delivery cost. Please contact me to discuss.
