“The inspiration for this work comes from my travels in the south of Spain, inspired by the beautiful majolica pottery and the stunning prints I saw of D&G whilst wandering around their boutique in Spain 2023. My charming decorative box pushed me to start working on this piece.
Created originally on Saunders Waterford hot pressed cotton paper- I spent well over 30 hours using colour pencil, watercolour and ink to create this elaborate work. He’s charming and bold yet delicate and he holds his own
